During the second year of my Architecture studies, I was assigned a group work. We had to re-think, renovate and bring back life to an old building by turning it into a cultural centre. It was located in a neighbourhood that needed its community to be more culturally and socially involved. Together with my two classmates, we designed a theatre, exhibition and cultural centre with as a main magnet to the community its 'light room'. It would bring ling into the old building during the day and give light to the street at night. It would interact in various ways that would allow the community to become more united.
